idk what to do

I tried many things listed here and other sites, but I cannot get the game to run.

I did many reinstalls but my latest one had a problem with the font, there were boxes instead of letters.

I tried adjusting the order load and now it just CTD's

Can someone list their load order give me some advice.

You need to read the installation guide properly, it's that simple

Don't do anything else, dont adjust load order, it's already perfect. 

The game NEEDS to be installed on your x:\ drive in x:\Skyrim

Fix nvidia settings, and run game with skse though MO, you should not have any problems.

Ya that's the first thing I did, lol. I installed the game to my x drive, followed the guide and the video. And when I started the game the menu's font was boxed and unreadable. I had the game working fine the first time I installed it on Windows 7, but when I upgraded to 10 I couldn't actually start playing it.

If you reinstalled windows did you remember to install all the redist again?

Yes... I'll reinstall and try to replicate the font issue, what do you think would cause that to happen.

I'm a little stumped ... deactive tara type font from MO? Is you PC language set to english?

Is there a way I can reset the load order without reinstalling lol, can I get that rottendub file for Mod organizer, I have the skyrim on my HDD so it'll take forever.

I looked at your load order in the rotten dub rar file, at the load order and I don't know if that's updated or not. I don't see tara font in that text file.

EDIT: nevermind I see that is for right pane.

EDIT2: I disabled tara font and fixed the CTD issue, but the menu letters are still boxes and I cannot see my mouse cursor or use the keyboard to move up and down.




I tried turning off the jaxons real name mod and got a CTD and when I re-enable it I still get CTD's.

Here are some things that might help:

1. Have you checked that BSA's are handled by MO and if they're all checked? 

2. Try launching the Skyrim launcher once to see if that changes anything

3. You can try to find the font files withing the spm 4.3 archive, should be in Data/interface and called:

fontconfig.txt
fonts_en.swf
fonts_en2.swf
gfxfontlib.swf
Translate_ENGLISH.txt

4. Changing your system language to another language, restart, then changing it back to English and restart again.

If this does not work then it's likely you have some currupted files either in Windows or your SPM folder. 

if so, you should open up cmd with admin rights and type sfc /scannow, this will verify windows files to see if that's the problem.

Yes, just copy loadorder.txt from the SPM archive :)

which is located in "Skyrim\profiles\RottenDub" 

and then should of course be extracted to "X:\Skyrim\profiles\RottenDub"

I thought that was the issue but, I couldn't find the font files except the "translate english" so I assumed they were there. Terrible thinking lol. I get CTD's running through SKSE, but I see the font now through skyrim launcher, i'm assuming when I reset the load order everything will be fine.

EDIT: Another problem though is when I start the game( right now through skyrim launcher ) I can't move my mouse or use my keyboard to scroll.

At this point I would just suggest downloading the 4.4 version instead trying to make that work instead, which (you never know) could work on the first try :)
