Hey, I had a simple issue, how can I install Skyrim in X:\? When I try to to do that, steam creates folders and installs it like that: X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim. And when I try to install it straight up to X:\ steams says: "New steam library folder can't be the drive root." Any help? Please?

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Launcher is useless in this pack as you  can only manually modify graphics options from X:\Skyrim\profiles\Rotten\skyrimprefs.ini (skse_loader when launched from mod organizer doesn't use C:\Documents path)

Did you activate all the mods from the left pane?

Created a video tutorial and as soon it's done rendering will post here.

I can also make some low-end PC ini files and upload somewhere that you can just copy paste.

So it looks like when I disable the enb, my fps is fine, but everything moves super fast? Like the game speed is twice as fast. When I enable the enb, the opposite happens, its not an fps drop, the game just moves in slow motion. How do I fix this?

•Don't leave task manager on.
•Start SKSE with MO
•Check to see if you have any missing redist "X:\Skyrim\-=Skyrim Rotten Edition ReadMEs and tools=-\Redist"
•Give it 30 secs to start the game.

You mean you got load order messed up?If so just grab everything from the "profile" folder in archive and copy it to X:\Skyrim\profiles\Rotten

If you deleted some files and don't know which ones, then yes you should extract the pack again.

You need to copy loadorder.txt lockedorder.txt modlist.txt plugins.txt

I am using a 144hz monitor and was getting 144fps in the prison cell. For some reason my xbox one controller sensitivity is so high I cant do a thing. Should I change a setting to minimize sensitivity, limit it to 60fps or what? I am using all your base setup and I use 2x 780s. Don't know what to do right now but I will think on it.

Edit: Dropped gamepad sensitivity from 1.9000 to 0.0200 to match the mouse. Lets see how it works...

Edit 2: Game Crashed. Maybe I will hook up my HD 60hz monitor. This monitor is mostly for FPS games.

No need to switch monitors I've put some new files and ini's in

http://perfectlymodded.forumz.ro/t64-custom-ini-s-for-custom-performance

Grab the files they also contain a frame limiter.

Open antilag.cfg and set the limit to 60

*Optional

Also open skyrim.ini  (X:\Skyrim\profiles\Rotten)
and add this line after sLanguage=ENGLISH

"iFPSClamp=60" (without the quotes)

You should add the FPS clamp if you notice any stutter in-game.

Thank you very much. It is running real good with the 60 clamp. I switched monitors anyway, hd 60hz looks better colors than a 144hz. I did notice a few fps drops from 50-60 and a couple high 40s but it didn't seem like graphic lag, more like mod lag. When I took a step going to riverwood I heard my feet skip a step and felt a lag also when I was picking berries I got a little lag with the loot and an fps drop. Looks good so far and going to read up on the slow motion post I saw earlier cause I was getting that a bit. I also love the favorites menu in categories for controller, quick pauses and pick your weapons and go. Very nice.

Edit: Read up on the slow mo post and I think I will go back to the 50 clamp and maybe set it to only use one 780 like your setup. Thanks
It was on 50 clamp, going to 60 clamp then with sli or else back to 50 with one GPU.

If you grabbed the files and your fps in the 50-60 region set both fps clamp and frame limit to 55 and see how that treats you

Hey, I accidently spoke to the firefly in Riverwood without knowing what she was for and it said it was ready to uninstall UFO. Did I accidentally delete the mod itself? If so how can I fix it?

Reload to a previous save it probably just stopped some scripts not deleted any files.

•Well this never happened to no-one before might be a load order problem, but it could be another thing entirely.Does the game hang or crash at some point?
-Import the MO profile from the archive again and use the default order(one that the pack comes with)and just move the water esp's lower.
-Don't leave task manager on as it doesn't play nice with a custom .dll hook.
-If in doubt check install instructions again.
-After you click yes when answering the question it should take 30 secs to start a new game.
-You don't need to update SKSE or FNIS

uh i think is the load order, i unpacked the one in the zip but looks it goes the same u.u . sorry for asking but could u upload the right profile? just to check if it is that or its just my game being dumb lol.. i didnt explain properly my issue.. the thing is when i click new game i get the 'answer questions' thing, then i only get 1 question and it freeze, however i can load one of the saved games the pack came with and start and it works fine, only thing is when i get into sky ui i get several errors popping up from it.

edit 1: nvm i followed the mod list and put it in the right order now lol. gonna test n.n

First of all, I would like to thank for that awesome work you did there, man. It is just amazing, you know? But I was wondering about a few things regarding Perma. I actually added like 70 new mods and everything was going well, I even did that stress test for 30 minutes or so, but Perma made me remove the whole game and redo the tedious process of installing everything, once more. The problem with Perma lies in the patcher, I followed your instructions and tried to rebuild the patcher with these new mods (weapons, armors, etc), but it fails every single time...I guess it has to do with some mods, but do I really have to rebuild the patch when I get new armors and weapons? I might be better off without it. Is PERMA really worth it? I've already tried Requiem a while ago and it was awesome for me. So, what do you think? Thanks again for all your work and sorry for bothering you :)

It's no problem welcome to the forums,I've already removed PERMA from my load order and future packs,it's a great addition but besides load time patching and creating new skyproc patches it also produces some gray face bugs.

The one that caught my eyes is SPERG - Skyrim Perk Enhancements and Rebalanced Gameplay by seorin you could give that a try but i haven't tested it out yet. One that i know works 100% with the pack is ACE - Combat Skills by Athyra - ACE Team.

That settles it then, I'm gonna remove it. SPERG looks really interesting, I'll give it a shot and see if it works. It's good that you told me about that face bug, I couldn't even fix it in the creation kit lol Thanks again, man, I really appreciate it!

PostSubject: application was unable to start correctly (0xc000005).   Troubleshooting EmptyMon Feb 01, 2016 10:07 pm

This Started to pop up out of no where, I did a complete reinstall of my X:/ folder and it was still there. I thought that it might of been possible that one of the .dll's were deleted so i formatted X:/ and went back through the install instructions I decompressed the zip ensuring that all of the files were there.
error 0x000005 is still their

So I reinstalled my computer and left my X:\ drive alone after reinstalling. I did all the redist in the Readme folder of X:\, installing graphics driver, setting nvidia control panel, getting latest visual studio, java, all windows updates (multiple restarts). All other applications work its just the skse_loader. Vanilla Skyrim runs fine.
Any suggestions I have kind of reached a dead end with the 0xc000005 error.

Will figure it out.

Default install, nothing changed.
I added the skyrim folder to the exclusion list, didn't work.
I'm gonna look into the issue a bit more.

Ok i figured it out, its all working now.
Their was an update on Bitdefender that disables some .dll's from being run.

To fix it-
You are required to turn off active virus control inside the antivirus menu.
-You can't just lower the level from normal to permissive(low) of the Active Virus Control
-It has to be turned off completely,
-even if you  place an exclusion on the Skyrim directory. You still won't be able to launch skse_loader.

Hehe, RottenDub, telepathically troubleshooting skyrim problems since 2016 :))

(Jokes aside you should definitely give nod 8 a try,it's the only reliable antivirus i found since panda died)

Your problem might/was related to python (since it's a not very well know resource but needed by mo to run and bits of it to run skse)

Wow! This is pretty rad. I just got it all installed and I'm really appreciative of all the work that's gone into compiling it.

I did notice that everything in my game is moving at about 2x faster or even more. Has anyone else had that problem or know how I can fix?

Hello and welcome to the forums!
Post you PC specs and I'll tell you what you can modify to improve your framerate.
You should keep ENB on and disable it in-game with SHIT+F12 as it can actually help performance.

I have the game setup as recommended including the NVidia settings.... also using the 355.82 driver.  I've also set my texture quality to MEDIUM via the included Configurator (in MO), and my FPS still avgs 35 to 40....  and if I enter Riften, it drops to 20 FPS.

Any suggestions?   Posting specs below:

Yes, but I ran it from within MO.

Edit:  Also, if I shift-f12 to turn off ENB, my FPS goes up by about 20 , to stay around 55 to 60.

Even if you run skyrim_config.exe from MO it will modify the files from C:\User\USER\Documents\My Games\Skyrim

So copy INI's from Rotten profile to documents use configurator until you are happy then apply. After that copy the ini's back to Rotten profile.
Like in the vid above.

Disable DOF and AO with to gain some FPS

Just wanted to post this here in case anyone else was having stuttering/performance issues...

I walked through the Speed and Stability guide on Nexus and made sure to apply the recommended settings to enblocal.ini... http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50214/?

I also downloaded and installed the enbhelper.dll file. No stuttering and I'm at ~40FPS in pretty much any taxing situation, even with DOF and other taxing ENB settings. :)

Troubleshooting Empty
PostSubject: Re: Troubleshooting   Troubleshooting EmptyThu Feb 18, 2016 4:45 am

Hey Rotten, I reinstalled the pack, and pointed my Patchus Maximus and SUM to the correct java directory, but I get "Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine
Error: A Fatal Exception has occured. Program will exit."

This is what happened when I installed the new one as well, and I made sure everything that I know of could be in order was in order. SUM works, but only loads the ASIS patcher, and ASIS running standalone works fine. I was just wanting to make a PaMa patch for the 10 or so weapons I installed in addition.
It did work last night, but the same thing that happened after I did the update for PerMa is happening again without the update. That's why I had imagined going back to your original setup would work, but the same issue managed to persist. I am wondering if there is something in particular I should change as far as PerMa patcher configuration, but reading through the limited PaMa documentation has not yielded the results I anticipated. I am running everything through MO so it recognizes the correct Load Order and creates an adequate patch, and I see that when run through MO, it can only utilize a max of 1024 memory.

Just wondering if you know something I can try real quick on my side to fix it.
I am running on a 64-bit OS, but am running the 32-bit javaw.exe application. I believe so at least since it worked before.

I am going to first try updating to the newest java or reinstalling the current one I have,
then attempt moving it into a new directory.

Is there a jar file I am missing or something that enables the application to run through java?

If you are unable to come up with it off the top of your head I do not mind, as I am really getting into how to run everything on my own.
The layout you have with your MO, and the extensions installed and everything is very organized and compact so it does not require going through folder after folder to run applications, which was how mine was setup the first time I tried creating a pack of my own of about 250 mods about a month ago. You helped teach me some things about keeping everything organized, which in turn creates a cleaner end product with less hassle.

But if there is something you know of, I am interested to try any suggestion, as I have done a lot of digging already with little success.

Sorry for the essay by the way, and if you are on mobile you do not need to respond immediately at all as I am about to lay down anyways. I got everything set up the way it should be all aside from the patch, so I am currently satisfied, and am low on sleep as well.

I really bit myself on the ass by mentioning not having any issues earlier as it came back to get me pretty quick trying to make my own changes.

Here's what comes top of my head...(had similar problem when i updated java)

Did you remember to press the modify button ? Aka save?

this how it should look

Binary • C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_66\bin\javaw.exe (pointed to the newest jre)

Start in • X:\Skyrim\MO MODS\Perkus Maximus - Maximum Perk Overhaul\SkyProc Patchers\T3nd0_PatchusMaximus
Arguments • -Xmx1024m -jar "X:\Skyrim\MO MODS\Perkus Maximus - Maximum Perk Overhaul\SkyProc Patchers\T3nd0_PatchusMaximus\PatchusMaximus.jar"

Yes, I did, but my Java is located in C:\Windows\jre \bin instead but same difference.
I will tweak it a bit more tomorrow, and certainly make sure to save a backup this time when I make any kind of change.
